Top rated specialty medical group in Orange County, CA has an immediate opening for an experienced Medical Assistant with blood draws.

Summary :

Position : Medical Assistant

Location : Orange County, CA

Days : Monday- Friday- 8am to 5pm

Job Type : Full-time

Pay : $24.00- $25.00 per hour DOE

Responsibilities :

• Strong back office & patient interaction
• Blood draws are required
• Vital Signs, injections, gather specimens and send to lab for processing timely
• Document chief complaint / medical history / update medication list
• Request / Gather all necessary data for each patient medical record (i.e. hospital / referring physician office / radiology and or lab records)
• Maintain a clean / organized work area including front office / triage area / examination / treatment rooms
• Sterilize instruments and maintain all medical equipment
• Assist the physician with Fertility procedures and treatments
• Stock office / medical supplies and request supply orders timely based on inventory needs

TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Position requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Some patient assistance will be required. Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone and other office equipment is also required. Employee must have normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
