Position Overview
The Tech Sales Director will play a pivotal role in driving the company's sales strategy, focusing on landing high-value clients. This individual will be developing and executing sales plans, and achieving revenue targets. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in high-ticket sales within the tech industry and experience working with startup companies.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company revenue goals.
- Identify and target high-value clients.
- Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Business Development
Explore new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market reach.Participate in industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote edYOU Technologies.Leverage market insights and customer feedback to drive product innovation and improvement.Sales Operations
Oversee the entire sales process, from lead generation to closing deals.Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance and optimize sales processes.Prepare and present regular sales reports to the executive team.Qualifications
Experience
Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the tech industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.Proven success in high-ticket sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.Experience working in or selling to startup companies is highly desirable.Skills
Exceptional leadership and team management abilities.Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales plans.Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.Education
Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
