Labor & Employment Associate AttorneyJoin a prestigious AmLaw 100 law firm in Silicon Valley, specifically in the Palo Alto office, as a Mid-Level Associate Attorney focusing on Employment, Labor, Benefits, and Immigration. With a strong focus on professional development and work-life balance, you will find a supportive and collegial atmosphere augmented by a competitive compensation package and a hybrid work schedule.Salary : $245,000.00 - $295,000.00 per yearEssential Duties and Responsibilities : Conduct and manage litigation processes in federal and state courts dealing with employment disputes.Lead arbitration and trial proceedings, providing top-tier legal representation for the firm’s clients.Draft and review employment-related documents like contracts, severance agreements, and company policies.Represent clients in mediations and negotiations, utilizing strong advocacy and dispute resolution skills.Provide legal guidance on state and federal employment law compliance, helping clients navigate complex legal requirements.Counsel employers on designing and implementing workplace policies and training programs to mitigate legal risks.Respond to charges from regulatory agencies such as the EEOC and DFEH, crafting detailed and strategic defenses.Participate actively in client meetings, offering legal insights and maintaining high standards of client service.Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategy and client advisories.Minimum Position Qualifications : JD from a top-tier law school with a record of strong academic performance.Admission to the California State Bar.At least 4 years of substantial experience in employment litigation including trial and arbitration.Experience in transactional employment work, including drafting and negotiating agreements.Demonstrated ability to handle complex legal issues relating to federal and state employment law.Proven analytical, research, and written and verbal communication skills.Preferred Qualifications : Experience in high-stakes litigation with direct trial and court experience.Proficiency in managing large-scale litigation cases independently.Demonstrated leadership in a team setting with an aptitude for mentoring less experienced attorneys.Background in providing training and seminars on employment law topics.Skills : Exceptional litigation and negotiation skills.Advanced proficiency in legal research and documentation.Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with clients and colleagues.Organizational skills to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.Technical skills with common legal and office software.Benefits : Competitive salary and discretionary bonuses.Firm-sponsored incentive programs.Comprehensive suite of health and wellness benefits.Support for professional development and continuing education.Hybrid work environment enabling flexibility and balance.#J-18808-Ljbffr
