We are seeking a Steel Estimator to join our team. While experience in the steel fabrication industry is , we are open to candidates who are eager to learn about our specific processes.

This is a hands-on, full-time role where you’ll work directly alongside the owner and play a key part in the day-to-day operations of the business. If you’re looking for a dynamic, family-oriented environment with the chance to grow your skills and take on a variety of responsibilities, we’d love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities :

Estimating :

  • Review project specifications and plans to prepare cost estimates.
  • Research and calculate material quantities, labor, and other costs involved in steel fabrication.
  • Work with suppliers to obtain accurate pricing for materials and equipment.
  • Assist in creating bids and proposals for clients.
  • Coordinate bids with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.

Qualifications :

  • Experience with estimating or a willingness to learn estimating practices.
  • Proficiency with Bluebeam software.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • A proactive, self-starter attitude and a willingness to learn.
  • Experience in the steel fabrication industry is a plus, but not required.
