You have mastered the art of communication and multi-tasking, and you enjoy keeping busy and gain energy from helping a diverse patient group.What you'll likely work on : Under minimal supervision, performs and records diagnostic ultrasound procedures including but not limited to extremity and extremity venous, abdominal, intravaginal / pelvic (non-OB), soft tissue, scrotal, thyroid, lumps and bumpsEnsures ultrasound tests are of high diagnostic qualityEffectively explains exam and communicates procedures to members while preparing and positioning members for diagnostic imaging proceduresMaintains member records in One Medical’s in-house EMR and the image storage platformProactively inspects and maintains imaging equipment, diagnoses malfunctions, and communicates with office leadership regarding any equipment needsCollaborates with providers, administrative assistants, phlebotomists, and telerad vendor partner to provide the best patient experience You’ll be set up for success if you have : 3+ years of full-time experience practicing as an Ultrasound TechnicianCompletion of an accredited Ultrasound Tech Program within the United States and corresponding knowledge of anatomy, physiology and pathology Current Registration in American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, with certification in abdominal and pelvic examinationCurrent BLS certification required This opportunity is located at the Duboce Triangle office in San Francisco, CA. Schedule and HoursSchedule : 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 9 : 00am-6 : 00pm PDTShift : Weekdays (Monday - Friday) with the potential requirement to work some weekend shifts in the future One Medical is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
