As RN on this team, you will help facilitate this mission by providing direct patient care, assisting with various at-home tasks, and pursuing individual educational resources to further your nursing abilities. You will have numerous opportunities to grow in this department and explore advanced positions if desired.A caregiver in this position works days from 7 : 00AM - 7 : 30PM.A caregiver who excels in this role will :

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients' conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing protocol.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients' discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families, considering cultural issues and other special concerns.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include :
• Graduate from an accredited school of Professional Nursing
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) upon or within one year of hire based on the department servicePreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include :

• Full range of body motion for handling and lifting patients, manual and finger dexterity, and eye-hand coordination
• Standing and walking for extended periods of time
• Corrected vision and hearing to normal range
• Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours
• Exposure to communicable diseases and / or body fluids
• Medium Work, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and / or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
