Assistant Director of Property Management

Location : San Francisco, CA

Pay : $90,000 – 100,000 per year

Job Responsibilities

Property Portfolio Management :

  • Assist in the strategic planning and execution of property management activities. Oversee the day-to-day operations of our real estate portfolio, ensuring compliance with local regulations and organizational policies.

Tenant Relations :

  • Foster positive relationships with tenants, addressing their needs and concerns promptly. Implement tenant retention strategies and initiatives to enhance the overall tenant experience.
  • Financial Management :

  • Assist in budget development and management for property-related expenses. Monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
  • Compliance and Regulations :

  • Stay informed about local, state, and federal regulations affecting property management. Ensure properties adhere to all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.
  • Reporting :

  • Prepare regular reports on property performance, maintenance activities, and financial metrics for organizational leadership.
  • Team Collaboration :

  • Collaborate with the property management team, other departments, and external stakeholders to achieve organizational goals.
  • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate Management, or a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience within property management
  • Proven experience in affordable housing, including Tax Credit, HUD, Section 8, etc.
  • Knowledge of affordable housing regulations and property laws.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
