We are seeking a skilled Access Control Technician to join our team specializing in multi-family environments. This role focuses exclusively on access control systemsno CCTV or intrusion system work is required. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical abilities, hands-on installation experience, and proficiency in programming. Certification in Brivo is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and configure access control devices, including but not limited to card readers, keypads, mag locks, electric strikes, push-to-exit devices, door sensors, etc.
  • Cut into doors and wire devices for access control systems, ensuring precision and functionality.
  • Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs on access control systems.
  • Program and test devices and panels to meet client specifications and system requirements.
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure seamless installations and client satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of installations and programming configurations.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as an Access Control Technician or similar role.
  • Certification in Brivo (highly preferred).
  • Proficiency in cutting into doors and wiring / installing access control devices.
  • Strong programming skills are a significant advantage.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
