As an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications :
What You’ll Work On
- Software Development lifecycle : Author documentation within the software development lifecycle and ensure alignment with software quality.
- Requirements Gathering : Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed system requirements.
- Technical Specifications : Write comprehensive technical specifications that developers and IT teams can use to build and implement solutions.
- Documentation : Create detailed documentation of system requirements, processes, and changes in accordance with Abbott’s software development lifecycle
- Quality testing : Coordinate and conduct testing to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements.
- Project Management : Assist in managing projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Collaboration : Work closely with IT teams, developers, business, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
- Compliance : Ensure that system changes comply with Regulated industry standards and regulations .
- Change Management Documentation : Document changes to systems and processes, including the rationale for changes, implementation steps, and impact analysis.
Required Qualifications / Experience
Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience : Over 3 years of IT experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field.Project Support : Proven experience in supporting digital technology projects.SDLC Knowledge : Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, with excellent documentation skills.Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.Technical Knowledge : Proficient understanding of IT systems, software development, and data analysis tools.Problem-Solving : Strong ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.Analytical Skills : Expertise in analyzing complex business processes and data.Preferred Qualifications
