The Opportunity

As an IT Business Systems Analyst (BSA), you will play a key role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT solutions. Here are some key responsibilities and qualifications :

What You’ll Work On

  • Software Development lifecycle : Author documentation within the software development lifecycle and ensure alignment with software quality.
  • Requirements Gathering :  Work with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into detailed system requirements.
  • Technical Specifications :  Write comprehensive technical specifications that developers and IT teams can use to build and implement solutions.
  • Documentation :  Create detailed documentation of system requirements, processes, and changes in accordance with Abbott’s software development lifecycle
  • Quality testing :  Coordinate and conduct testing to ensure that the implemented solutions meet the specified requirements.
  • Project Management :  Assist in managing projects, including timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Collaboration :  Work closely with IT teams, developers, business, and other stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of solutions.
  • Compliance :  Ensure that system changes comply with Regulated industry standards and regulations .
  • Change Management Documentation :  Document changes to systems and processes, including the rationale for changes, implementation steps, and impact analysis.

Required Qualifications / Experience

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience : Over 3 years of IT experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or a related field.
  • Project Support : Proven experience in supporting digital technology projects.
  • SDLC Knowledge : Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) processes, with excellent documentation skills.
  • Communication Skills : Exceptional verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Knowledge : Proficient understanding of IT systems, software development, and data analysis tools.
  • Problem-Solving : Strong ability to identify problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Analytical Skills : Expertise in analyzing complex business processes and data.
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Regulated industry guidelines / Compliance knowledge
  • Quality background – QMS / CAPA / Testing
