Are you an experienced HR leader ready to make a lasting impact at one of Palm Beachs premier luxury properties? We are seeking an exceptional Director of Human Resources (HRD) to drive our people-focused initiatives and support the continued success of our high-performing team.

About the Role :

As the Director of Human Resources , youll report directly to the Executive Leadership team and oversee all HR functions for our luxury hotel. Youll lead a talented HR Manager and be responsible for hiring an additional HR Coordinator to complete your dynamic team. Your mission will be to foster a culture of excellence, support staff development, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the hotels overall business goals.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, and retention efforts to maintain a strong and motivated workforce.
  • Oversee employee relations, ensuring a positive, supportive, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Handle performance management, training, and professional development programs.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and hotel policies.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to support their teams and drive operational success.
  • Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and employee recognition programs.

What Were Looking For :

  • Experience : 5+ years in a senior HR leadership role, preferably in luxury hospitality.
  • Skills : Strong expertise in employee relations, compliance, recruitment, and organizational development.
  • Leadership : Proven ability to mentor, inspire, and build cohesive teams.
  • Education : Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; HR certifications (PHR, SPHR) are a plus.
  • Qualities : Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and interpersonal skills.
