- 1st Shift : $16.50 per hour
- Attendance Bonus : $1.00 increase for perfect weekly attendance
Shift Times :
1st Shift : Monday-Thursday, 5 : 00am-3 : 30pm (possible Friday and Saturday depending on workload)Position overview :

Job Summary :
The Quality Technician will be responsible for maintaining quality control processes in our food packaging facility and mill. This role involves monitoring production processes, conducting quality tests, and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibilities :
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.Perform routine tests and analyses to ensure products meet specified quality standards and regulatory requirements.Monitor and document production processes to ensure adherence to quality control procedures.Identify and report any deviations or non-conformities in the production process.Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols and procedures.Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions.Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to prevent recurrence of quality issues.Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.Train and educate production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.Ensure that all quality control equipment is calibrated and maintained in good working condition.Ensure food safety complianceAssist in production as neededVerify labels and product-to-carton matchingEnsure hopper cleanlinessComplete required documentation accuratelyPerform metal detector testingMaintain professional communication skills (verbal and written)Assist with production during peak times and absenteeism.Qualifications :
