Cordia Resources by Cherry Bekaert is partnered with an award-winning law firm who is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team on a contract-to-hire / direct hire basis.
Title : Accounting Manager
Location : On-Site – Norfolk, VA
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000 / year
Job Type : Contract-to-Hire / Direct Hire
Candidate will be responsible for :
- Managing the company’s financial accounts and preparing financial statements for the firm
- Work with AP and Payroll teams to provide accurate AP and payroll records
- Support billing, cash applications, and collections efforts
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close efforts
- Work with external auditors to give documentation and research as needed.
- Bank reconciliations, journal entries, GL reconciliations, and cash flow forecasting
- Ensuring GAAP compliance
- Other duties as assigned
