About Us :

Gray Capital Enterprises LLC is a dynamic and growing real estate investment firm specializing in multifamily commercial real estate. We are seeking a strategic and experienced Head   of Accounting to lead our accounting function, build and scale our team, and support our continued growth.

Position Overview :

The Head  of Accounting will oversee all accounting operations, financial reporting, and tax compliance, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financials. This role will manage a small accounting team, with a focus on expanding and structuring the department to scale efficiently as the business grows. The ideal candidate will have a CPA , extensive experience in commercial real estate accounting (preferably in multifamily), and proficiency in RealPage accounting software . This leadership position reports directly into the executive team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and Scale the Accounting Function : Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Build and develop an accounting team that can grow with the company.
• Financial Reporting & Analysis : Manage financial statements, cash flow analysis, and internal reporting for executive leadership and investors.
• RealPage Accounting Oversight : Leverage RealPage accounting software to streamline financial management and reporting processes.
• Tax Compliance & Strategy : Work closely with external CPA firms to manage tax filings, ensure compliance, and develop tax strategies.
• Process Improvement & Controls : Implement financial controls, improve processes, and introduce best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
• Collaboration & Leadership : Act as a strategic partner to the executive team, providing insights to support financial decision-making and business growth.
