JOB DESCRIPTION :

  • Confident and comfortable treating both adult and geriatric patients
  • Develops a plan of care for each patient, including complete medical history, physician examination, diagnosis, appropriate treatment, and / or referral, including hospitalization, when necessary.
  • Uses all available resources and treatment, such as lab and radiological testing, appropriately and cost-effectively.
  • Completes EMR according to practice standards and closes charts within the appropriate time frame.
  • Is well versed in relevant outpatient medicine and diagnoses such as COPD, hypertension, diabetes, etc.

    • QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Understands the mission and practice of a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC)
  • Comfortable in outpatient medicine and able to communicate effectively with a varied patient panel
  • BE / BC
  • Will accept new grads
  • Licensed in VA
