The Department of Drama is establishing a search of qualified applicants for a position as part-time lecturer for Spring Quarter 2022 in the curriculum area of Scene Design.

The department seeks applicants to teach an undergraduate level class in Beginning Scenic Design. Must have at least 3 years teaching experience at a college level. An MFA, or commensurate experience, in Drama / Theater Arts is required. At least 3 years' experience as a LORT Regional Theatre scenic designer or commensurate experience. Compensation for the quarter will be approximately $6,200.00 for full Beginning Scenic Design class, and is non-negotiable.

Candidates for this position must have strong professional credits in scene design and a strong commitment to teaching, training, and working in a university environment. Candidates must demonstrate a pedagogical and professional profile that is compatible with distinguished undergraduate training at a major research university. Candidates should show a demonstrated ability and commitment to work effectively with a diverse student population.
