Description

The Business Development Executive is a self-starter and team player who is open to feedback, can set priorities and meet defined goals. He / she must demonstrate a sales aptitude with strong persuasive skills to influence desired outcomes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Develop and implement an effective sales plan to meet or exceed established sales goals
  • Examine prospects to determine insurance and risk management needs
  • Build a strong center of influence network
  • Demonstrate ability to work within a team selling environment
  • Maintain positive relationships with our carrier partners
  • Solid understanding of the agency management system, carrier websites, products, and coverages

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education
  • Bachelor's degree in related field

  • Experience
  • 3 years of sales or service experience

  • Computer Skills
  • Microsoft Office Applications

  • Accreditation
  • Property & Casualty and Life & Health WI insurance license required within the first 90-days of employment and maintain throughout the course of employment.
