We are looking for a seasoned Regional Property Manager to lead our Baton Rouge multifamily portfolio , which includes two properties with 204 and 176 units . These properties are in the heavy lease-up phase, currently at 70% and 84% occupancy . Given the lease-up nature of these communities, we need a hands-on leader with a strong background in leasing, unit turns, work orders, payables, and overall property operations .

About the Regional Manager Position

Regional Property Managers oversee operations, staff, financial budgeting and reporting, marketing, and leasing efforts for all apartment communities assigned to their portfolio. This position is comprised of two essential objectives; to improve the overall financial performance of their assigned communities and to provide leadership to the assigned communities in the pursuit of excellence in multi-family housing services.

  • Responsible for the overall profitability and financial direction, coordination, and evaluation of the communities under his / her supervision.
  • Set performance goals and hold the team accountable for meeting expectations.
  • Train team members on company policies and procedures, leasing responsibilities, property software, etc.
  • Manage the due diligence process, acquisitions and dispositions, and capital improvement projects.
  • Maintain a professional working relationship with third parties to include ownership, vendors, inspectors, etc.

Requirements

  • Multi-family housing experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of property management experience
  • Strong background in lease-up and stabilizing non-stabalized properties.
  • Ability to lead on-site teams and oversee leasing operations.
  • Proficient in financials, budgets, and property management systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and sound judgment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and written.
