The Fundraising Operations Senior Manager Associate will help advance the mission of UWCI by focusing on creating, maintaining, and optimizing Operations that support, guide and enable the fundraising and engagement team to thrive and have the strongest opportunity for success. The role is responsible for leading the Fundraising Project Specialist. This role is also responsible for providing processing, operations, and project support to the internal team members responsible for UWCI's fundraising and engagement activities as a part of the Eli Lilly and Company United Way giving effort (Lilly Gives).

This individual routinely navigates Salesforce CRM database, reads, interprets, and analyzes financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and / or governmental / legal regulations. Sometimes presents information and responds to questions from groups of managers (may include Top Management), clients, customers, and the general public. Routinely writes complex detailed reports and business correspondence.
This individual routinely analyzes and defines problems, establishes facts, and draws valid conclusions. Able to deal with nonverbal symbolism (formulas, scientific equations, graphs, etc.). Able to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions / information in mathematical or diagram form and deals with several abstract and non-concrete variables.
This individual makes decisions daily on use of resources, performance, and budgets and in support of the organization's strategic direction. Decisions could require additional expenditure of resources if not sound decisions. Decisions tend to be short term (one year to three years) and usually moderate to high cost.
Education and / or Experience
Bachelor's Degree required. One to two years of administrative support-related and operations experience required. Thorough knowledge of all aspects of non-profit organizations preferred. SCRM Power User Certification preferred. Salesforce Licensing for CRM preferred. Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Salesforce certification preferred. Two years of proven successful project management preferred.
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, a strong reputation for integrity and professionalism, strong critical thinking capabilities including the willingness and ability to ensure accountability, ability to build strong relationship both inside and outside UWCI, ability to think strategically, ability to foster an inclusive environment consistent with UWCI's commitment to diversity and inclusion. Must have the ability to prepare, explain, and monitor performance, manage projects and workload, and engage constructively with the other members of the UWCI team.
