Milwaukee Area Technical College seeks a highly qualified individual to sell customized training to area business and industry in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will coordinate the delivery of leading-edge training as well as provide business and technical solutions to a wide range of industry partners. This position also requires inside & outside sales which include sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls and email marketing campaigns.

Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Director of Workforce Solutions, this individual is responsible for presenting, promoting and selling customized training and workshops / seminars to existing and prospective customers.
Characteristics, Duties & Responsibilities :
Researches potential accounts, identifies key decision makers and generates interest in the college's customized training offerings. Maintains and expands the database of prospects within the college's service area.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications :
Compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards / requirements, as well as all MATC policies and procedures.
Required Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree is required (major coursework in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications or a related field is preferred);
Three (3) years of progressively responsible work experience in business to business sales, customized training or service sales; or any equivalent combination of training and experience.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :
Demonstrated work experience as a successful sales representative in a fast-paced environment with key performance metrics. Experience working with a Customer Relationship Management System.
Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both internal and external customers. Highly motivated and target driven.
Thorough knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques used in sales, the sales cycle and pipeline management.
Knowledge and understanding of business processes and upskilling a workforce.
Demonstrated work experience in presenting at trade shows, client meetings and other networks as a representative of the organization.
Demonstrated work experience in handling multiple projects, es tablishing priorities, time management, meeting deadlines and organizational skills.
Experience in creating contractual agreements.
Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
