Job description

JOB PURPOSE

As a Carrier Sales Business Analyst on the Core Technology Product Team, you will leverage your experience in Carrier Sales to create smart tech solutions that solve our brokers’ biggest pain points, making them more efficient and effective. This is an opportunity to have an influential role in defining the future technologies developed for our carrier sales reps and carriers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate as liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
  • Review Software Enhancement Requests, work with requestors to define requirements
  • Assist in developing creative solutions to improve carrier reps’ workflows and experiences by documenting processes, writing business and functional requirements
  • Conduct Quality Assurance (QA) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure that requirements have been met successfully
  • Establish and maintain knowledge of market trends, carrier insights, and emerging technologies
  • Assist in product strategy, vision, and roadmap definition

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a major related to Business or Technology
  • 6 months Carrier Sales or Operations experience (not limited to CS)
  • Experience with RPA is a plus
  • Experience in back-office integrations, or brokerage AR / AP operations
  • KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
