SUMMARY / PURPOSE OF JOB
Under the direction of the HR Director, the Human Resources Generalist / Recruiter is primarily responsible for managing the full life cycle recruitment process for Rehabilitation Hospital of Indiana. This individual will serve as liaison to all departments in regard to recruiting and onboarding efforts. The incumbent assumes responsibility for assisting with the development of new job descriptions and annual review of existing job descriptions. Additionally, this position will be expected to conduct and assist with annual market compensation surveys. This incumbent will also serve as a representative of the HR Department on the Employer of Choice Committee.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to relate well with the public in the presentation of positive image. Requires working knowledge of guidelines of regulatory agencies, fair employment practices, non-discrimination legislation, and current licensing laws of professional practices at the hospital. This individual must appropriately adhere to deadlines and be able to function independently. Incumbent must also be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.).
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of three (3) years' experience in a Human Resources Office with experience in healthcare strongly preferred. Experience in applicant tracking systems is essential.
EDUCATION
Bachelor's Degree in HR or related field and / or equivalent HR experience required. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP is a bonus.

Monday-Friday 8 : 00 PM-5 : 00 PM
