  • This position is located in our West Des Moines, Iowa office, with the possibility of a hybrid work arrangement (3 days in the office, 2 days remote)

What You'll Do : In this role you will analyze, design, develop, administer, implement, and support enhancements for business partners within the Member Services Team. You will support best practices in the design, development, and deployment of code to facilitate enhancements to the P&C Policy system. You will also maintain adequate documentation to support team processes and ensure we are able to easily transfer knowledge to other resources in the area for ongoing support of system changes.

What It Takes to Join Our Team :

  • College degree or equivalent plus five years relevant Cobol, CICS, and mainframe DB2 experience. Must also have extensive experience with MQ Series, Easytrieve, and VSAM.
  • Endevor and Control-M are beneficial skills, but not required.
  • Prior experience in insurance is preferred.
  • A self-starter who wants to connect with business partners, understands business requirements, and can document and program.
  • Be analytical, and demonstrate your skills to communicate, connect, and collaborate.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, be results oriented and adjust to changing priorities and needs while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Be excited about learning new programming languages and open to helping us move forward.
