Job description

Job Duties :

  • Track documents for privilege review.
  • Copy and encrypt. Coordinate copying and encryption of datasets.
  • Prepare documents for production, including Bates numbering.
  • Coordinate productions by secure transfer sites and drives.
  • Review documents for attorney-client and other privileges using multiple review platforms and tools.
  • Upload documents to review platforms.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues with review platforms and tools.
  • Apply redactions to documents of all types including audio files.
  • Draft review memos and protocols.
  • Communicate directly with case teams regarding privilege review.
  • Draft, organize and manage privilege review materials.
  • Use task ticketing software to track litigation case support.

Qualifications :

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain MRPT facility credentials / authorization. Note : US Citizenship is required for MRPT facility credentials / authorization at this work location.
  • Requires Law degree, or currently attending an ABA-accredited law school, having completed at least two years of study or, an equivalent level of legal training or experience; or an equivalent level of education may be substituted.
  • Additionally, must have at least two years of progressively more responsible experience on litigation support projects or task order related projects including proven capabilities and communication skills to successfully interact with clients and attorneys.
  • Requires sound working knowledge of federal and state court systems, legal research procedures, and legal research resources.
  • Requires excellent written and oral communication skills and thorough knowledge of legal research tools such as LEXIS and Westlaw.
  • Must have hands-on familiarity with a variety of computer applications, including word processing, databases (such as document review and file management systems), spreadsheets, and imaging.
  • Role also requires hands-on familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources.
