DESIGN / PRODUCTION SPECIALIST

Duties include :

• Reading digital work orders submitted by the Sales team and creating designs based on the notes and files provided.
• Creating signs and graphics from scratch with anything from limited creative direction to very detailed customer-provided notes.
• Working with customer-provided files to prepare them for output.
• Creating output files to use with the printers, plotters, and / or router.
• Running the plotters and printers.
• Alerting the Manager to future material needs by recording materials on a digital materials order sheet.
• Sending proofs to clients for review.
• Moving jobs through a digital workflow at the appropriate times to make sure projects progress in a timely manner.
• Meeting with the Sales Team to discuss questions regarding design work.
• Setting up production files for sub-contract vendors.
• Preparation, production, and assembly of signs.
• Some installations.
• Maintaining and organizing the Design and Production area.

Compensation : $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
