Title : Production Coordinator

Department : Multi-Family

Pay Status : Exempt

Reports To : Production Manager

JOB SUMMARY

This individual will be responsible for supplying Production Tickets to production in a timely manner. They will be responsible for verifying that the correct materials are being used for each order and recording the production runs. This individual should be self-motivated and maintain a positive attitude.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Regularly required to use hands to finger, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
  • Occasionally required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch.
  • Frequently required to sit, bend, reach, and type.
  • Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus.
  • Occasionally required to lift and / or move objects up to 50 pounds

JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Create and supply production tickets in a timely manner.
  • Create material prep list to give to production. Verify materials used.
  • Have S&R pull materials and review all staged materials for correctness prior to production.
  • Close down sales orders by doing production recording, note any substituted materials.
  • Assist Production Manager in taking care of all production associates timecards.
  • Enter all receivers into Dynamics. Verify correct materials received.
  • Requirements

    JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must follow all safety guidelines and procedures for equipment.
  • Must adhere to all safety and housekeeping policies and guidelines.
  • Ability to purchase materials for multiple projects in a timely manner.
  • Experienced in creating and maintaining project purchasing requirement spread sheets.
  • Ability to use intermediate math calculations such as percentages and conversion ratios.
  • To be able to identify and use correct specs when ordering doors, frames and trim.
  • Organized, self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects at the same time.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively & conduct themselves professionally.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills required.
  • EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required
  • A minimum of 1-2 years of experience running medium to large sized jobs in industry
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook required.
