Join the Point-of-Sale (POS) Modernization team! As a Software Engineer, you will work on a highly complex, fast-paced, cross-platform effort with varying technology solutions (infrastructure, software, middleware, etc.). As a vital team member, you will contribute to building scalable, robust, and secure solutions that will enhance the customer checkout experience on the front and backend. You will work closely with the project team to ensure requirements are understood and turned into functional code that is peer-reviewed, tested, and deployed to our production environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and maintain software applications for the POS platform, ensuring performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other engineers to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Implement new features and functionalities to enhance the capabilities of the point-of-sale.
  • Assist with production installs, pilot monitoring, and problem determination.
  • Work closely with quality assurance and testers to ensure the delivery of high-quality, bug-free software solutions that will enhance customer experience.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies that may be applied to the point-of-sale.
