Key responsibilities of this position
The Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A will contribute to Nellis' overall success by ensuring that finance drives excellent financial controls and insights to impact the business. This role will assist the month-end financial review process, budgeting / forecasting and business insights. This position will report directly to the Director of FP&A and will support
the CFO / other senior leaders in a pivotal role for Nellis’ exponential growth.
- Drive month-end financial review process including management reporting and P&L insights
- Assist in annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
- Perform variance analysis and generate data insights to identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management
- Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial and operational performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various business initiatives and projects
Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred4+ years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance or related rolesStrong proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Excel skills including data visualizationExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilitiesSolid understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and business operationsOutstanding written and verbal communication skillsAbility to synthesize complex data and present findings clearly to both financial and non-financial audiencesDesired Skills
Strong attention to detail / accuracy and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environmentAbility to be a team player and to develop into a manager / leader of people in future roles
