Job Location :

This is a hybrid position, with a requirement to work onsite in Arlington, VA as needed for team meetings.

Job Description :

Blake Willson Group (BWG) is seeking a highly skilled and results-driven Quality Control Leader to oversee quality control across all BWG projects. In this role, you will set the standard for excellence in project delivery, train and mentor project leaders to ensure these standards are met, and engage directly with clients to drive exceptional project outcomes, including achieving outstanding CPARs.

You will play a critical role in maintaining BWG's reputation for excellence in Federal Financial Management, leveraging your expertise to solve complex client challenges in areas such as accounting, budgeting, and credit modeling. This role requires exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and quality assurance skills to ensure the highest level of service and project delivery.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide quality control oversight across all BWG projects to ensure consistent and exceptional delivery standards.
  • Build, train, and mentor project leaders, equipping them with the tools and knowledge to meet quality expectations and hold them accountable for outcomes.
  • Interface directly with Federal clients to address challenges, provide solutions, and drive exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Oversee project delivery in Federal Financial Management areas, including accounting, budgeting, and credit modeling.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards and best practices across all projects.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance project performance and maintain high client ratings (CPARs).

Required Skills :

  • Project Management :
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budgets, and achievement of quality standards. Experience with planning, organizing, and executing complex tasks in a structured and efficient manner.

  • Quality Control :
  • Strong background in establishing, monitoring, and maintaining quality standards across diverse projects. Ability to identify deficiencies, implement corrective actions, and ensure continuous improvement in project delivery and client satisfaction.

  • Accounting :
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits. Experience in ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal accounting standards and processes.

  • Financial Management :
  • Expertise in managing financial operations, including budget formulation, execution, and analysis. Proven ability to assess financial performance, control costs, and provide data-driven insights for decision-making.

  • Budgeting :
  • Proficiency in developing, managing, and monitoring budgets to align with organizational goals. Experience in federal budget processes and practices, including preparation of detailed budget plans and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

  • Credit Modeling :
  • Hands-on experience in creating and analyzing credit models to assess financial risks and support decision-making. Strong understanding of methodologies for evaluating creditworthiness and developing strategies to manage financial risks effectively.

    Desired Skills :

  • Certifications such as CGFM, PMP, or CPA are highly desired.

Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
