The Control Technician will provide services related to the retro commissioning and calibration of existing control systems. The position will work with project managers and subcontractors to meet project requirements. The control technician will be responsible for assisting in calibration, point to point check out, programming, and testing of Direct Digital Control (DDC) building automation and control systems as directed.
Responsibilities / Duties
- Helps to maintain accurate and thorough project documentation and redlines
- Complete sensor calibrations on HVAC control systems
- Complete PID loop tuning on equipment programs to optimize equipment operation
- Assist with project sub-contractors where needed, specifically test and balance contractors
- Assist the project team in the engineering of control system hardware and software programming based on project plans, specifications, and other contract documents
- Helps to implement programming, graphics, and sequences of operations for Direct Digital Control (DDC) Systems.

Physically able to climb overhead or crawl under spaces to complete jobs
