Job descriptionHigh School diploma or equivalent required. Print reading and ability to make mathematical calculations. Ability to use both verbal and written English effectively, with courtesy and tact, in dealing with co-workers, customers, and vendors. Three years of inspection experience. Familiarity with Romar Arm, FARO Arm, or other CMM. Planar equipment is a plus. Purpose : Verify and audit the product, processes, and final deliverable to our valued customers.
Shift : swing
Major Duties Performed :
- Perform inspections to Farwest Steel Corp. standards, industry standards, and customer requirements.
- Provide written procedures and SOP's for Farwest Steel Corp.
- Oversee all production processes and related documentation of records.
- Perform Formal First Article inspections and records data on internal or customer provided documentation.
- Execute detailed measurements of product using precision tools with accuracy and honesty.
