We are filling Industrial Electrician and Power Tester positions in the Canonsburg area. Starting pay range of $22.00 - $23.00 per hour for a leading manufacturer of power transformers. First and second shift opportunities are available.

Industrial Electrician and Power Tester role :

  • Perform electrical work in the maintenance, repair, and installation of a wide variety of machinery and electrical control apparatus.
  • Follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.
  • Use hand and power tools, and electronic test equipment.
  • Prepare requisition for materials and supplies.
  • Provide sketches of wiring and equipment.

Industrial Electrician and Power Tester requirements :

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Must have schooling in electricity and electrical applications.
  • Two years’ experience with transformers or high voltage equipment design, manufacturing, service or testing.
  • Must be able to perform work at heights occasionally.
  • Flexible hours and occasional OT required.
  • Ability to lift up to 100 lbs, with assistance; 50-60 lbs alone.
  • Math and Tester exams required.
  • Will use calculators, computers and enter data into system.
  • Background check and drug screen required.
