Sr. IT Project Manager, Vendor Management & Azure DevOps
POSITION CONCEPT :
This person will lead teams of information technology professionals, business partners and vendors, providing technical, professional, and personal leadership to assure the successful completion of IT&T projects. Under general direction, s / he is responsible for all aspects of the project life cycle and will act as a single point of contact for those projects. In addition, this person will facilitate alignment with the systems development methodology and associated processes used within the IT&T Department.
Primary Role Focus : Vendor Management, Azure DevOps experience, ability to restate complex technical information in a format appropriate to the audience.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
IT Project Manager Sr - Under minimal supervision, is responsible for all aspects of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including the Program Management Office and workforce scheduling, for Waterfall and Agile projects.
Education :
Required : Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or equivalent in formal education from a regionally accredited college. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of college degree.
Licenses / Certifications :
Preferred : Holds an industry-level certification (IT or Project Management).
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS :
Required : A minimum of 6 years’ experience in managing IT projects. A minimum of 10 years equivalent experience with a high school diploma or a minimum of 8 years of equivalent experience with an Associate's degree.
