Bowser Collision Center is seeking an experienced Body Shop Service Appraiser / Estimator to schedule repair work for the Body Shop and to sell additional needed services and repairs to customers. The Body Shop Service Appraiser / Estimator maintains dealership standards of quality and the highest level of customer satisfaction (CSI).

Essential Responsibilities :

• Greets customers and obtains customer and vehicle data.
• Schedules appointments for repairs.
• Determines general nature of repairs needed and writes a clear description of customer needs on the repair order and / or works with insurance adjusters as necessary.
• Walks around vehicle with customer noting any additional damage. Also points out other repairs or maintenance for which the customer has a need.
• Provides customer with estimated repair costs and anticipated time of completion.
• Arranges rental vehicle for customer if appropriate.
• Verifies intended method of payment.
• Obtains customer signature on repair order.
• Maintains contact with technicians throughout the workday.
• Maintains optimum CSI.
• Administers appropriate warranties.
• Test-drives vehicles as time permits.
• Notifies customer when repairs are completed.
• Delivers vehicle to customer at pick-up and reviews work performed.
