Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the guidance of a Nuclear Medicine Physician, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist accomplishes one or a combination of several general Radiographic procedures at a technical level requiring a high degree of independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply Isotopes for Radiographic Diagnosis. Performs test on in as well as outpatients. Utilizes a variety of Nuclear Medicine Cameras and varied equipment. Administers Radiopharmaceuticals and establishes protocols used for diagnostic and therapeutic purposes. Very cognizant of radiation safety. Assists in Diagnostic Radiology as needed. Other duties assigned.
