ACCOUNTING SERVICES OFFICER - ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND PAYROLL

Compensation Range :

73,086.07 - $116,170.30

Position Summary :

Hiring Salary Range : $67.051.44 to $73,756.58 depending on qualifications.

The Accounting Services Officer for Payroll and Accounts Payable is responsible for managing and directing both payroll and accounts payable functions while adhering to company policies and ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Job Duties :

• Oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for all employees.
• Oversee the accounts payable process to ensure accuracy of vendor invoices and approve payments.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance and benefits payments to the State.
• Conduct regular audits of accounts payable and payroll processes and records to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and identify areas for improvement.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts payable and payroll processes and implement best practices.
• Preparation and submission of payroll reports and filings in a timely manner.
• Analyze payroll data to identify variances and reconcile them.
• Prepare and submit required reports to management including payroll summaries and accounts payable aging reports.
• Prepare ad-hoc reports as required.

Required Qualifications :

The position requires a bachelor's degree and five years of prior-related experience.
