Highlights of your role :

  • Innovative Project Work : Lead and participate in projects focused on improving facility operations, including the design and implementation of new systems and processes.
  • Facility Equipment Management : Monitor and optimize facility equipment to ensure operational efficiency, compliance, and accurate maintenance, particularly in chemical storage, tanks, oxidizers, and generators.
  • Safety Compliance : Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety standards, including OSHA, fire department, and insurance requirements, with a focus on environmental regulations.
  • Regulatory Coordination : Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and manage changes related to new chemicals or processes using the MAR and MOC processes.
  • EHS Inspections and Audits : Conduct and document required inspections and audits, ensuring timely follow-up on any findings.
  • Emergency and Waste Management : Coordinate all aspects of waste stream management, including hazardous waste pickups and inspections, and manage risks related to emergencies like floods, fires, and security.

  • Environmental Experience : Practical experience in environmental compliance, and safety, including knowledge of regulatory requirements and implementation of related procedures

  • Thrive in Achieving Goals and Overcoming Challenges : You are motivated by setting and achieving goals, demonstrating persistence in overcoming challenges, and adapting effectively to changing circumstances.
  • Also want to make sure you have :

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required : preferably in Chemical Engineering. Candidates with degrees in Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering will also be considered
