SUMMARY
Develops, coordinates, and manages all functions within the department through expertise, leadership, and supervision.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitors safety, environmental issues, quality, and productivity of all operations.
- Prepares annual targets, objectives, and budget. Prepares, distributes, and leads future strategic plans for the group.
- Ensures establishment and maintenance of work instructions, process procedures, and standards.
- Analyzes monthly results and performance for reporting to upper management.
- Meets with the customer daily to review KPIs from the previous day.
- Responsible for identifying problem areas and working to improve with the quality team.
- Responsible for maintaining the safety of the operations and addressing any concerns immediately.
- Actively communicates with Corporate Safety on reporting and KPI requirements.
- Responsible for managing multiple locations along with customer relationships.
- Experience Managing VMI Operations would be beneficial.
- Autocade and experience with facility layout design.
- Business Development for the assigned region of responsibility along with RFQ Presentations and Negotiations.
- Plan and oversee strategic, operational, administrative programs, projects, and services for the division as directed by executive management. Interface with other divisions to strengthen TAI.
- Other duties and special projects as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for training employees.Evaluating efficiency and productivity.Directing or distributing work.Handling employee complaints.Determining and / or planning work.Responsible for initiating hiring, disciplining, termination, and appraisal of work of employees.Responsible for planning and managing the section's budget.QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or equivalent.At least 12 - 15 years of experience in a similar field, including management responsibilities.Must be proficient with Microsoft Office productsAdvanced knowledge of Excel including formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.Excellent verbal / written communication skills.Excellent analytical skills.Excellent organizational skills.Ability to prioritize and support multiple assignments simultaneously.Clear thinking with a continuous improvement mindset.Detail-oriented and conscientious to produce consistently high-quality work.BENEFITS
