Job Description
The Swift Group is looking for a Scrum Master who will be responsible for being a servant leader who monitors and improves the processes of Agile Scrum Methodology. Work location is in Herndon, VA.
Key Responsibilities :
- Able to create JIRA dashboards and aggregate information in custom made Confluence pages.
- Manage the successful completion of all tasks in assigned program area including technical work.
- Develop, review, and approves plans, schedules, consulting agreements and other program documents.
- Coach and help everyone on the team to understand Scrum; this includes scheduling regular interaction with the product owner and delivery team.
- Communicating with external stakeholders that the project team interacts with.
- Assist the Product Owner to understand and better manage the backlog and plan for sprints, as well as explain the process to the delivery team.
- Improve the team's Scrum process by removing any obstacles in the way, measured by velocity.
- Able to provide clear communication of the vision, goals, and product backlog items to development team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant corporate and government policies and standards.
- Participate in special projects as required.
