Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a Quality Assurance Engineer
Position type : Full Time, Contract
Duration : 6 Months
Location : Reston, VA (3 days onsite)
As a Quality Assurance Engineer , you will be responsible for
We are looking for a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer with a strong background in back-end testing, automation and experience testing in cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with AWS services, advanced SQL, UNIX, and automation skills. Python programming knowledge is required to support data preparation tasks.
The ideal candidate will have –
- Strong understanding of SDLC and QA methodologies.
- Proficient in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation.
- Solid experience with Unix commands / scripting for file handling and log analysis.
- Hands-on experience with test automation tools / frameworks.
- Python programming skills for scripting and automation support.
- Experience working in cloud environments, preferably AWS (e.g., S3, EC2, Lambda, RDS,SNS / SQS, EMR, Step Function).
- Experience with CI / CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Experience with creating test cases / test execution sets and defects in JIRA
- Strong problem-solving skills in troubleshooting issues in data validations.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with other application teams and key business stakeholders.
