Job description

Oracle EBS Financials Business Analyst

Join our innovative team as an Oracle EBS Financials Business Analyst in the dynamic and vibrant city of Reston, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to revolutionize financial processes and systems using Oracle R12 EBS. This position offers a hybrid work model and a comprehensive benefits package, including stock options and bonuses, within a supportive environment that encourages work-life balance and career growth.

Salary : $120,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Implement best practices in Oracle R12 EBS for Financials, focusing on OTC & PTP processes to drive efficiency and innovation.
Perform detailed fit-gap analysis and develop solutions tailored to business needs, documenting functional specifications for each project.
Lead the full lifecycle of system development projects from conception through implementation, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to surpass customer expectations while maintaining Information Security and SOX compliance.
Offer troubleshooting and problem-solving expertise, address software application issues and drive automation initiatives to enhance system efficiency.
Create and implement comprehensive test strategies and plans to ensure robust application updates and enhancements.
Prepare and deliver high-quality presentations to stakeholders to outline challenges and recommend feasible solutions.

Minimum Position Qualifications :

8+ years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle EBS R12.2.9 or higher across key financial modules such as GL, AP, AR, CM, FA, etc.

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.

Strong foundation in configuration and recent functional work in Oracle EBS including implementation and ongoing support.

Proven ability to capture detailed requirements, create comprehensive functional specifications, and develop strategic project plans.

Ability to reside within 60 miles of Reston, VA, or willingness to relocate with assistance provided.

US Citizenship or Green Card holder is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley processes and controls is highly valued.

Demonstrated ability to lead and manage comprehensive ERP system implementations and upgrades.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills, particularly in a cross-functional team setting.

Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Skills :

Proficient in the use of Oracle EBS Financial modules.

Exceptional analytical and documentation skills, including developing project plans and test strategies.

Strong leadership skills with the capacity to manage deadlines and push projects to completion.

Ability to work effectively both independently and in diverse team environments.
