We are seeking a seasoned Controller to join our dynamic Accounting + Finance team. This role is a pivotal leadership position that will oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of strategic financial analysis and decision-making, with the ability to navigate through complex data to provide insightful business solutions. Responsibilities

As our Controller, your responsibilities will include :

1. Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A / R, A / P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

2. Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

3. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget, financial forecasts, and report variances.

4. Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

5. Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

6. Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

7. Support month-end and year-end close process.

8. Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

9. Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

10. Additional controller duties as necessary.

Job Details

Qualifications

To qualify for this role, you will need :

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field. A Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or professional accreditation such as certified public accountant (CPA) or certified management accountant (CMA) will be considered an advantage.

2. Proven working experience as a Financial Controller, with at least 5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.

3. Advanced knowledge of accounting and financial management principles, with a solid understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

4. Proven experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and monthly reporting.

5. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. SAP).

6. Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.

7. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

8. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

9. Ability to work with large amounts of data, to interpret financial records, detect errors, and prepare financial reports.

10. Strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
