We are looking for a Patient Care Coordinator in our Las Vegas, NV Office. A Patient Care Coordinator works cooperatively with all members of the care team and supports the vision of the Positive Patient Experience (PPE), answers phones, responds appropriately and routes calls as needed, responds appropriately and timely to patients request regarding appointments or exams, reviews referrals / orders for appropriateness and scan, create, protocol, tasking, and scheduling. Schedules appointments telephonically, inbound, and outbound, schedules appointments according to scheduling guidelines, policy and procedures, department productivity and quality standards and resolves routine to moderately complex issues, refers to supervisor when appropriate.

Primary Responsibilities :
Greet all external and internal customers in a courteous manner. Check in patients, collecting insurance information and patient paperwork as needed
Confirming patient eligibility and benefits
Make, verify, and schedule appointments, including updating demographics in EMR systems
Collect patient co-pays and co-insurance amounts due. Reconcile daily collections
Reschedule patient appointments due to cancellation
Daily completion of tasks and email communications
Assists co-workers and team members with duties when requested or assigned, to include but not limited to, floating to other locations

Required Qualifications :
High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
CPR Certified or willing to obtain certification within 90 days of hire
2+ years of medical office experience in performing duties such as scheduling appointments, checking patients in / out, insurance verification, collecting co-pays, and maintaining medical records
2+ years of experience with electronic medical records (EMR)
Intermediate level of proficiency with PC computers including skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and other departmental specific programs / applications
Ability to travel to other practices if needed
P referred Qualifications
Bilingual in Spanish / English

Ability to work independently and maintain good judgment and accountability
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks to meet all deadlines
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated ability to work well with health care providers
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to speak clearly and concisely, conveying information in a manner that others can understand, as well as ability to understand and interpret information from others
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
