Southeast Texas HR is seeking a dependable Cash Posting Clerk to join our team in the hospital and healthcare industry. As a leader in recruiting and HR services, we provide excellent career opportunities for candidates with the right skills and experience. As our Cash Posting Clerk you will be working daily to assist in ensuring all payments and adjustments are posted timely and accurately. This is a temporary 4-6 week, day position, and pay will be $13.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Scan all documents for the Cash Posters in the Business Office.
- Post payments and adjustments by verifying account numbers and applying proper codes.
- Verify and update information to ensure accurate patient billing records.
- Obtain correct billing and payment information for posting non-patient cash.
- Retrieve and process electronic batches and posts to accounting system.
- Balance prior day's payments and send them to the accounting team.
- Notify management of any payments that cannot be processed due to time or missing information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
