We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently while adhering to food safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, a commitment to workplace safety, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

salary : $69,000 - $83,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on facility and equipment as directed by the Chief Engineer or Maintenance Manager .
• Complete documentation of work performed in compliance with the company's preventive maintenance programs .
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to determine the most effective repair or replacement solutions.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) , ensuring food safety and preventing potential adulteration during repairs and installations.
• Execute all maintenance duties safely, minimizing risks to oneself and others.
• Communicate daily, both orally and in writing, with the Chief Engineer regarding shift-related issues.
• Respond promptly to requests from non-maintenance department Supervisors and Managers to address maintenance-related tasks.
• Ensure compliance with SQF requirements, food safety protocols, GMP, and HACCP regulations .
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and applicable legislation governing food manufacturing.
• Identify and provide feedback on continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency.
• Monitor and comply with quality specifications to ensure product consistency.
• strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical systems, PLC troubleshooting, and automation .
