About Us

The Boys & Girls Club of the Black Hills is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing a safe and supportive environment for youth to develop crucial life skills and reach their full potential. Since our establishment in 1994, we have been committed to delivering high-quality youth development programs to boys and girls aged 6 to 18.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging youth development programs to participants with a focus on character development, academic success, and healthy lifestyles.

Encourage positive behavior and provide guidance to help participants navigate challenges and make positive choices.

Create a safe and inclusive environment where participants feel valued, respected, and supported.

Develop and implement age-appropriate activities and experiences that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of youth.

Maintain accurate records of participant attendance and program outcomes to track progress and evaluate program effectiveness.

Requirements

A genuine passion for youth development and a strong belief in the potential of every young person.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with participants, families, and staff members.

Patience, empathy, and the ability to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs and interests of participants.

Prior experience working with youth in a structured setting is preferred.
