The Radiology Department at Sentara Leigh Hospital offers a variety of services and average 130 units of service every 24 hours. They are a well-staffed unit with a long-standing management team. This magnet hospital offers all GE CT Scanners and long-term opportunities to grow within Sentara.

CT Techs perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Requirements :

• Trade School Graduate- Radiologic Technology
• ARRT(American Reg of Radiologic Tech)or CNMT(Certified Nuclear Med Tech)
• BLS- Basic Life Support

Other :

Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire.

Sentara Leigh Hospital , located in Norfolk, VA, is a 250-bed acute care facility that opened in 1903 and relocated to its present site in 1977. Job Summary

Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions). ARRT or CNMT is required. Staff within Sentara CarePlex, must obtain CT registry by 11 / 1 / 2016.

Qualifications :

TS - Trade School Graduate : Radiologic Technology (Required) ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Certifications - Other / National, Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - Other / National, Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) - Certifications - Other / National
