Responsibilities

The receiving coordinator performs activities related to the receiving functions for the business by ensuring incoming materials are handled per processes in an efficient manner. Some essential functions include :

Load and unload freight.

Receive and inspect incoming materials or product.

May perform dimensional or electrical testing of incoming materials.

Transport freight to proper locations.

Use computer to transfer inventories.

Create and maintain processes and instructions for receiving.

May assist with cycle counts.

Trains new team members.

May operate forklift or pallet jack.

Qualifications

Qualifications :

Ability to sit, stand, and walk up to 12 hours.

Ability to bend and reach.

Ability to lift / carry, and push / pull up to 25lbs.

Preferred :

High School Diploma or GED

Previous production experience

Ability to operate a forklift, pallet mover, and hoist equipment.

Working knowledge of ground and air carriers, LTL, and international shipment procedures.

Ability to maintain accurate records.

Good organizational skills.

Proficiency with a computer.

Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.

Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.

This position pays : $18.00-$21.39 (Actual pay will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualifications for the role.)
