We are seeking an experienced RVT to join our Overnight Team at VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists.

Schedule : Four 10 hour shifts, 8 : 00pm to 6 : 30am or 5 : 00pm-3 : 30am

Compensation : $ 24 - $ 30 / hr

We believe in high quality veterinary medicine and patient care and making that happen through dedication and learning. The position is for four, 10 hour shifts, 8 : 00pm to 6 : 30am or 5 : 00pm-3 : 30am. This will include at least one weekend day (unless you are a glittery unicorn that really really wants to work Saturdays AND Sundays, which we would be happy to accommodate). Duties will include :

• Maintaining medical records.
• Preparing for and performing procedures and treatments.
• Preparing medications and prescriptions.
• Communicating in person and on the phone with clients.
• Performing laboratory work and diagnostic imaging.
• Assisting in procedures.
• Providing compassionate care and a home away from home for hospitalized pets.
• Assisting in other areas of the hospital, as needed.

Compensation is negotiable based on education, experience and other relevant credentials. The pay range for this position is $24 to $30 per hour.
