Job Summary : The role of the Accounts Payable (AP) Sr. Specialist is to provide guidance and instruction to AP specialists for the purpose of ensuring compliance with payables policies and procedures. This role will serve as a liaison between Accounts Payable and our buyers, vendors and internal PTP and RTR teams. The Sr. Specialist should understand full-cycle Accounts Payable functions, have the ability to reconcile vendor accounts, research discrepancies, and provide resolutions and AP reporting.General Duties & Responsibilities - Vendor Support : Manage Vendor Support team email mailbox to ensure timely responses to Supplier and business partner inquiries. Monitor supplier setup for accuracy and completeness, ensuring completion within SLA timelines. Work cross functionally within department and externally to resolve supplier issues. Participates in Systems Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Oracle Fusion ERP system implementation Partner with the appropriate FASS team(s) to identify process improvement, automation and efficiency opportunities. Prepare and maintain SOP, training, and support documentation for team. Understand and adhere to internal controls.General Duties & Responsibilities - Customer Support : Ensure inquiries from internal customers and external vendor inquiries are responded to accurately and within SLA timelines. Assist in Reconciling statements of past due invoices from vendors. Partner with the appropriate FASS team(s) to identify process improvement, automation and efficiency opportunities. Prepare and maintain SOP, training, and support documentation for team.Educational & Experience Requirements : College Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration preferred. 3-5 years Accounts Payable and Customer Support experience required. 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role preferred Knowledge of full Accounts Payable cycle - procure to pay- process. Experience with D365 and Oracle Fusion a plus.Additional Skill Requirements : Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision. Strong analytical / problem solving, communication, organization, and initiative skills. Able to multitask and perform detailed-oriented tasks. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment where the ability to prioritize is key and teamwork is a must. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact and communicate professionally with a wide range of people at various levels within and outside our organization.
