Be the main point of contact for a large client of the consulting firm. Facilitate weekly meetings with the client at their office in Miami. Coordinate with Senior Staff to execute all engineering and design work.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- Registration in Florida as a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
- Strong Project & People Management skills.
- Program Management experience for transportation facilities including tolls and highway infrastructure.
- Enrollment in Team Florida or IBTTA.
Job Description
Insight Global's client is looking for a Transportation Engineering Director to join their Miami, FL office. Our client is a trusted provider of infrastructure solutions that advance communities through innovation and resilience. Their full-service capabilities include planning, design, construction management, and program management for transportation, site development, utilities, water / wastewater, airports, and seaports.
Responsibilities of this individual include :
1. Professional Services negotiation and contract management
2. Project Management
3. Expressway and tolling infrastructure construction.
4. Traffic and ITS operations
5. Planning, production, and implementation of Capital and Transportation Improvement Plans
6. Environmental and corridor studies
7. Right‐of‐way program management
8. Roadway, tolling and bridge design and construction
9. Construction negotiation and contract administration
10. Constructability and Bid‐ability reviews
11. Geotechnical, Survey and Public Involvement
12. Program Controls – develop, track and project capital expenditures
The annual salary for this position is $260,000 depending upon experience and qualifications.
